Huge idle power consumption after trying XTU

I tried Intel Exteme Tuning Utility on my Ultrabook and now the idle package power is 7~8w(below 1w before). The CPU is i7-4650U. Now the uncore part is 5w, and 3w if I disable the HD graphics. It seems that the GPU and other parts in the CPU never enter idle mode?

It's OK with AC, But a disaster to battery life.I tried every option in power manager and XTU itself, reset and flashed the BIOS, reinstalled the OS, and even took the notebook apart and detached all batteries for several minutes. They were no use. Do I have to repair or replace my computer?

You could try to uninstall the XTU and check Idle power with different software. This will tell you if the XTU is causing this problem or different programs or software.

Check with your computer manufacturer for third party monitoring software compatible for your computer model.
