Hi Intel community, I'm having big issues playing halo on my laptop.
I always get these wierd effects:

I tried uninstall and reinstall Halo, I did the same with the graphic driver but I got the same result. I actually update the latest Intel Graphic Driver with the Utility provided by Intel itself, which is x.x.x.4501 (correct me if I am wrong).
anyway, those are my specs:

Hello espoice,
According to your report, the current driver installed is .4444, can you double check if this is the right version? Go to Device Manger> Display adapters> Intel(R) HD Graphics right click on Properties and then go to Driver, you will be able to see the version installed. If you see the same number, use this method http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005474.html How to Manually Install a Graphics Driver in Windows 7* in order to install version .4501.
Regards,
Amy.

hello Amy, thanks for replying.
I actually checked the driver version on Device Manager and it is said to be the .4444. Anyway, when I attempt to install the driver version .4501 either with the Intel Driver Utility or manually, I get the following error: "The driver being installed is not validate for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer. Setup will exit.
Waiting for your answer,
Stefano

Hello Amy, I follow your instruction downloading the right graphic driver .4501 for my System and Graphic card. When I open Device Manager and go to Display Adapter, I select update driver browsing my computer and selecting the folder where I downloaded the .exe stated above. A window immediately pops up and says: "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date" and nothing more.
Should I completely unistall the graphic driver and try again ?

Yes please, try uninstalling the current driver version installed. I recommend using this method;
- Open the Device Manager
- Expand the Display Adapters section.
- Find the Intel Graphics Driver. The driver can also be called the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (Intel® GMA Driver).
- Right click Intel Graphics Driver and select Uninstall.
- Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device.
- Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.
- Try one more time installing the driver .4501,
Once done, double check if the driver was successfully install by checking the version.
Let me know how it goes.

/thread/107199 espoice,
I am following up your case; were you able to double check the driver version? Version .4501 might help to address the glitch issue with your game. So just make sure that you have it installed, and let me know.
