Please try uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display Audio HDMI Driver. Make sure you uninstall both drivers, the graphics and audio driver as it shows on the picture below.
Reinstall the latest Intel Graphics Driver from the Download Center. The Intel Display Audio HDMI Driver is included in the download, and is automatically installed.
If the problem persists, try using one of the adapters that you can see at the following link if it is possible.
The table lists tested graphics adapters you can use with Intel® NUC products.
The troubleshooting provided above is just to see if that can make your system any better but please be aware that Intel strongly recommends using straight connection from your unit to the device you want to connect because that is what Intel has validated and tested, so any adapters or splitters may work or may not work.
If you have the possibility to use straight connection that will give you better performance with the Intel® NUC, anything else is not supported.
