Hi CalecaDaniele ,

It comes with no cooler, giving you the option to get the cooler you consider is right for your system.

When you get the cooler look at the height of it to fit in your case and to have springs on screws. Also look so that it will not hit the memories, or the first pci-e slot.

A very good cooler and easy to install is this http://noctua.at/en/nh-d15s.html NH-D15S . The only thing you need to worry is the height.

You can also get a water cooler. but then you need to have a case that you can mount it on.

Be careful when you mount the cooler don't squeeze to tight the screws, just till it stays stable on CPU (it can turn a bit, there is no problem).

Skylake CPUs need to be handled more gentle, because of the construction: http://www.thepoorgeek.com/techblog/2015/12/14/skylake-has-the-bends/ Skylake has the Bends – The Poor Geek

If you decide for a cooler, you can ask here for advice.

Be carefull what cooler you take and have fun !

Hello CalecaDaniele ,

Only some of the Intel CPUs are shipped without the heatsink, this one is not included in the list, please check link below.

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/processors/000005940.html Intel® Boxed Desktop Processors with No Fan Heatsink

You can also check the specs provided by the website of the place of purchase, they should include this information.

for me that is an assembler this is a big/little problem.

after a maked a quotation for a customer, i need to add a cooler, with other cost for buying a cooler and shipment

if its possible to read first ok, but when this example this is not a regular way

"Intel is important to have a precise e costant upgrade of this database"!

tnx a lot Ronin, if i have need wtrite a questions

Hello CalecaDaniele,

Retail Boxes include the cooler, I searched for some vendors and they indeed noted the Retail Boxed processors have a heatsink included.

Here some examples:

http://amzn.to/2dxxaEl http://amzn.to/2dxxaEl (Check image of the box)

http://bit.ly/1GWRfje http://bit.ly/1GWRfje (under specifications)

NOTE: This link is being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.

Additionally, let me sent the "no heatsink included" website for review to get it updated if required

In the first post I was talking about the CPU you bought: the 6600k.

It is simple, the "K" skylake processors doesn't have a cooler because people that want a "K" CPU usually take a better cooler.

The non "K" skylake CPUs have a cooler because they have limited frequency and a better cooler does not help to much.

If that i7-6700 non "K" doesn't have a cooler it's not retail. Some CPUs can be sold as bulk in a small box, bulk. Usually those are for OEM system builders.

ahahah a little of confusion, sorry!

for the CPU with "K" is ok this not have a cooler.

but a i have asked for a cpu

"intel i7-6700 BX80662I76700 cpu i want to known if it has a cooler in bundle, it is a boxed"

and you have answered that no have a cooler, then you mean for i5-6600k !

then intel i7-6700 BX80662I76700 have a cooler?

in certain cases even the distributor known it.

i have asked here to have a secure answer, answer that came from a my reading of ark or datasheet

but i learn that is not a secure law!

tnx a lot for a support Ronin and Esteban

Yes a little confusion here :)

Non K and retail box CPUs have a cooler included in the box.

OEM or tray CPUs don't, they are sold in "packages" and don't include cooler since they are sold to manufacturers to integrate them in their systems.

Probably the ones you were checking are either k or OEM :)

It has been a pleasure to assist you, CalecaDaniele.
