Broken I7 6700k?

My 6700k cpu with everything at stock idles at over 1.4v and temp is above 60c. I have set balanced power plan. I first thought it was the cpu cooler, a H110i. So it got that replaced but it changed nothing. I also get low scores on cinebench r15, 833 at max. When i stresstest the cpu with intel extreme utility it does not say it is throtteling. i once got a bluescreen. Is it broken? Do i need to rma it? I am running windows 10 pro 64bit.

Hello Ahasvold,

I would like to verify some information in regard to your system in order to confirm if this can be considered as normal behavior, so please provide me with the following reports;

I must say that the temperatures you are reporting seem fine; however, I would like to confirm that with information requested above.

Regards,

Amy.

Hello. Thank you for your answer.

*Downloaded the tools and it passed the test.

*I am using HWmonitor, latest edition.

* I was running Cinebench R15 when bluescreen appeared. But that was a one time only.

Can there be a windows setting? Faulty motherboard? Or just a bad chip?

In order to respond to your questions, please attach the report and add the screenshot of the HWmonitor.

To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" in the top right corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear in the bottom right corner of the response box.

Regards,

Amy.
