Please see below file name attachment for booting sequence & HDD details :

      "Booting sequence & HDD details.JPG"

      Be note at here :

Intel DH67CL motherboard BIOS configuration jumper position status :

      1-2 = Normal

      2-3 = Configuration

      No jumper = Recovery

Please see below file name attachment for this :

      "Intel DH67CL BIOS jumper layout.JPG"

From last few days I am facing below mentioned problem randomly, please guide me about it that why its happening & what will be the technical solution.

      Step 01 I am doing :

Problem I am facing : My Intel DH67CL motherboard is not giving display every time when I switch ON my CPU. At the same time, CPU cooling fan & cabinet cooling fan, SMPS (power supply) cooling fan are moving, LED of USB optical mouse is ON but no LED of "Num Lock" & "Caps Lock" even I press these 2 keys one by one on keyboard, both SATA HDD are spinning, DVD trey in-out is also working OK if I press DVD writter's switch, no LED blink on USB pendrive. Multiple times I switch OFF & re-switch ON the CPU but my Intel DH67CL motherboard is not giving display every time & remaining hardwares' symptoms are same as I mentioned above. Randomly & very rarely my Intel DH67CL motherboard will give display (and then boot also either from any O/S which I choose) after so many times of unsuccessful trial of switch OFF & re-switch ON of the CPU.

No beep noise is coming during no display though I set "Enable" option in BIOS for "No Video Detected Error Beeps".

If I am working either in Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit O/S or in Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit O/S & after finishing my work, when I am either doing hibernate or restart or shutdown the PC, there is no guarantee that when I next time switch ON the CPU whether my Intel DH67CL motherboard will give display or not !!!!!

      I can't understand why its happening ?

      Step 02 I am doing :

As there is no display coming as per above "Step 01", now I switch OFF the CUP. Now I remove BIOS configuration jumper from 1-2 position & insert in 2-3 position, now I switch ON the CPU, then my Intel DH67CL motherboard is giving BIOS display every time !!!!! Here its gives 1st message like "Clear BIOS Passwords - - This will clear BIOS Supervisor and User Passwords. Continue ? (Y/N) ". Though I have not set any Supervisor and User Passwords for BIOS but still I press "Y", so another message will come like : "Please Turn off power and reinstall the jumper in Normal mode position".

Please see below file name attachment for this :

      "1st message during BIOS jumper 2-3 position.JPG"

"Exit message during BIOS jumper 2-3 position.JPG"

In this "Step 02" my Intel DH67CL motherboard is giving BIOS display every time & I can see all the menu's of BIOS & I can do changes in it & by pressing "F10" I can save it & can exit from BIOS. Here I can see 4GB + 4GB RAM installed in DIMM1 & DIMM2 so I can not do doubt on any of the RAM module's functionality when PC is not giving display when I am doing "Step 01". Same way I can not doubt on power supply (SMPS) as every time PC is giving display when I connect BIOS configuration jumper in to 2-3 position.

Moreover, since I buyed my PC in August' 2012 year to till date, every 30 days I am blowing air inside the PC's cabinet & inside power supply (SMPS) through air blower machine so dust particles + moisture combination will not create short circuit on electronic components. So since August' 2012 to till date, my DH67CL moherboard always looks like brand new motherboard like intel company is giving to customer in seal pack antistatic bag + box. Though my home, my room are so neat & clean so no problem of dust.

      Step 03 I am doing :

I switch OFF the PC, again I remove BIOS configuration jumper from 2-3 position & insert in 1-2 position. I again switch ON the CPU but as usual my Intel DH67CL motherboard is not giving display as I mentioned in above "Step 01".

      Step 04 I am doing :

To overwrite my already latest BIOS version 0160 to the same version 0160, I have downloaded "BL0160.BIO" file to FAT32 formatted USB pendrive from (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22273) and followed the steps for "Recovery with USB device" written as per  (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/000005630.html). BIOS version 0160 was overwrite successfully.

Please see below file name attachment for this :

"BIOS version 0160 was overwrite successfully.JPG"

Then I have done "Step 01" & "Step 02" as I mentioned above but result for "Step 01" is as per written in "Step 01" & result for "Step 02" is as per written in "Step 02".

Earlier on 20th October' 2013, I have updated my DH67CL motherboard BIOS from old version to latest BIOS version 0160 & since that date upto few days ago, my PC was working fine & it was giving display everytime I power ON the CPU. This was done under the e-mail guidance from intel customer care as I sent e-mail to "sasupport@mailbox.intel.com" under intel ticket number : 8000790780. But when I approached to intel customer care on "sasupport@mailbox.intel.com", they gently replied me like - - "I regret to inform you that this Board is out of warranty. This Board is end of interactive support from Intel i,e the board is very old board and Intel has stopped support to this board. Hence we will not be able to proceed warranty or technical support to this board".

For this reason, I am asking this problem's technical solution on "intel community".

      Step 05 I am doing :

Now I have disconnected PC from APC UPS & PC directly connected to 230 volt 3 pin wall socket & then I have done "Step 01" & "Step 02" as I mentioned above but result for "Step 01" is as per written in "Step 01" & result for "Step 02" is as per written in "Step 02".

Now, I am waiting for possible technical solution of the above mentioned problem in "Step 01".

      Thank you all for reading.

I suggest that you try a CMOS clear. Power off the PC, unplug it from A/C power and then remove the CR2032 battery from the board for a full 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, restore the battery, plug the PC back in and power it on. You will have to go into BIOS setup and set the date and time. While you are there, I suggest that you do a F9 to reset the BIOS configuration. Then, make any changes to the BIOS configuration that are absolutely required (boot order, etc.) and then exit BIOS setup with a save of the configuration.

          Hope this helps,

            Dear Mr. N. Scott Pearson,

Thank you for understanding my question & thank you very much for your efforts for quick reply to me.

Well sir, as you have written steps in your reply, already earlier I have 100% exactly done this activity many times step by step but unfortunately I forget to write about it as "Step 06 I am doing" in my above question before I posted it at "intel community".

            Step 06 I am doing :

Mr. "N. Scott Pearson" reply's each step is exactly I have done many times + after removing the CR2032 battery from the motherboard, I waited for 1 hour or more than 1 hour each time, then I have done "Step 01" & "Step 02" as I mentioned above but result for "Step 01" is as per written in "Step 01" & result for "Step 02" is as per written in "Step 02".

So still I am waiting for possible technical solution of the above mentioned problem in "Step 01".

Perhaps your HDMI connector has failed. Have you tried connecting the monitor using the DVI connector?

                24th September' 2016.

                Dear Mr. N. Scott Pearson,

Once again thank you very much for your quick reply to me.

Its about your doubt on failure of HDMI port of DH67CL motherboard.

My clarification about "Step 02" :

Sir, as per I have written above, if I am doing "Step 02", the BIOS configuration jumper position I am keeping at 2-3 (Configuration mode) & now if I am switch ON & switch OFF the CPU for 50 times then all the 50 times my Intel DH67CL motherboard will give BIOS display !!!!! So for this reason for "Step 02", there is no doubt / no possibility of HDMI port is faulty or fail. Are you agree with it & am I right at here ? (PC will not boot O/S in this "Step 02" as BIOS configuration jumper position is set as 2-3).

My clarification about "Step 01" :

Now to do the regular use of PC on daily, I have to keep BIOS configuration jumper position at 1-2 (Normal mode) as per I have written above in "Step 01", so according to it, now if I am switch ON & switch OFF the CPU for 50 times then out of these 50 tries, in most of the try, no display will come & may be very randomly & very rarely DH67CL motherboard will give display & and then PC will boot also either from any O/S which I choose by pressing F10 button & for the whole day to night I can work on my PC. During work time to keep rest for myself, I am keeping my PC in "Sleep" mode so when I return back to PC, just by pressing any of the key of keyboard, I can start my PC from "Sleep" mode to "Normal" mode. If during the rest time, instead of keeping my PC in to "Sleep" mode, if by mistake I have done "Restart" or "Hibernate" or "Shutdown" then there is no guarantee that next time whether my DH67CL motherboard will give display or not !!!!!. So for this reason for "Step 01" also, there is no doubt / no possibility of HDMI port is faulty or fail as randomly it gives display. Are you agree with it & am I right at here ?

From August' 2012 to August' 2014, I was using DVI to VGA converter connector to attach my 15" CRT monitor "Samsung Samtron 45Bn" & PC was giving display all the time & working fine with it with BIOS configuration jumper position at 1-2, Normal mode.

In August' 2014, I have buyed "Dell S2340L" LED IPS 23" HDMI full HD (1920*1080p) monitor having VGA & HDMI both video input ports but from August' 2014 to till today in September' 2016, I am using my Dell S2340L monitor by connecting it with HDMI port of my Intel DH67CL motherboard & PC was giving display all the time upto few days ago with BIOS configuration jumper position set at 1-2, Normal mode. Even though no changes I made in BIOS, still suddenly & surprisingly its started randomly giving display even though BIOS configuration jumper position is at 1-2 (Normal mode) !!!!!

If I will not get this problem's solution then if I will start to keep my PC in "Sleep" mode instead of "Restart" or "Hibernate" or "Shutdown" but 2 drawbacks of doing of this are :

                (1) If 230V AC power supply (electricity) will fail in my home for more than 15 minutes then compulsory I have to do either "Hibernate" or "Shutdown" of my PC as my APC UPS backup time is 15 minutes & then there is no guarantee that next time whether my PC will give display or not !!!!!

                (2) If suppose I have boot my PC from HDD1 O/S which has Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit O/S installed & now I want to work through HDD2 O/S which has Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit O/S installed, in this condition or in vice versa condition, I have to do "Restart" or "Shutdown" of my PC & then there is no guarantee that next time whether my PC will give display or not !!!!!

So still I am waiting for possible technical solution of the above mentioned problem in "Step 01".

                • 5. Re: My Intel DH67CL motherboard is not giving display every time when I switch ON my CPU.
                  N.Scott.Pearson

There are two possibilities to consider: (1) hardware failure on the board and (2) corruption of BIOS configuration.

I am leaning towards the issue being a hardware failure, so let's talk about this case first. The fact that the board will properly enter BIOS Setup when the jumper is in the 2-3 position does not mean that this cannot be the case; the BIOS uses only minimal resources - and it may not be affected by the failing hardware - in this case. Secondly, the fact that the board will sometimes boot and operate properly indicates (to me) that you may have a component that is failing intermittently, possibly as a result of its thermal state (i.e. it needs to be heated up to work properly). If I am right, your only resolution will be to replace this motherboard.

Ok, it you really want to try to recover the board (presuming the latter issue), here's what you need to do. Do it all and do it exactly as I detail it; it does not matter what you have or have not tried before:

                  1. On another Windows-based PC (DO NOT USE A LINUX-BASED PC!), insert a USB 2.0 flash disk (DO NOT USE USB 3.0 FLASH DISK!). Reformat this disk using the FAT32 file system (I don't care if it has been formatted or used before, reformat it again!).
                  2. Download the latest available BIOS file for your board (that's file BL0160.BIO). Place this file in the root folder of the USB 2.0 flash disk.
                  3. Properly eject this flash disk before physically removing it from the PC.
                  4. Unplug your DH67CL system from A/C power.
                  5. Remove the CR2032 battery.
                  6. Remove the BIOS Configuration jumper completely.
                  7. Wait at least 15 minutes.
                  8. Restore the CR2032 battery to the board.
                  9. Plug the USB flash disk into a (black) USB 2.0 port (DO NOT USE (BLUE) USB 3.0 PORT!) on the rear panel of the board (DO NOT USE FRONT PANEL USB PORT!).
                  10. Plug the system back in and press power button.
                  11. At this point, if the board is working properly, it should proceed to install this BIO file using the Recovery method. If it does not, go no further; replace the board.
                  12. If the recovery process actually worked, you should see a message telling you to to power off and restore the BIOS Configuration jumper. Disconnect A/C power and then install the jumper in the 1-2 position.
                  13. Restore A/C power and press the power button.
                  14. If it powers on properly, use F2 key to enter BIOS Setup.
                  15. Set the date and time.
                  16. Use F9 key to reset the BIOS configuration.
                  17. Make any changes you absolutely need to make to the BIOS configuration (i.e. boot order, etc.).
                  18. Exit BIOS Setup saving the configuration.
                  19. See if it will boot (more) successfully.

                  Hope this helps,

                    Dear Mr. N. Scott Pearson,

Thank you very much for your efforts for me.

On 23rd September' 2016, in my question I posted, in the paragraph of "Step 04 I am doing", I have written about I have successfully done BIOS version 0160 (BL0160.BIO) overwrite by following intel's which websites & I have also attached its screenshot JPG file name as "BIOS version 0160 was overwrite successfully.JPG". I request, please once again refer that paragraph & JPG screenshot.

Now about your last reply, my updated are as below :

About your suggested step 01 to step 03 :

I have done with my "IBM Thinkpad R40" old laptop having Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit O/S I installed in it. I have used HP make USB 2.0 pendrive.

                    About your suggested step 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 :

                    I have done.

                    About your suggested step 11, 12, 13 :

I have done. On 23rd September' 2016, in my question I posted, in the paragraph of "Step 04 I am doing", I have written about I have successfully done BIOS version 0160 overwrite & I have also attached its screenshot JPG file name as "BIOS version 0160 was overwrite successfully.JPG".

About your suggested step 14 :

At here PC was powering ON but as BIOS configuration jumper was in 1-2 position, as usual no display was came even after BIOS version 0160 (BL0160.BIO) overwrite !!!!! ????? So I power OFF the PC, I removed jumper from 1-2 position (Normal mode) & inserted jumper in 2-3 position (Configuration mode), re-power ON the PC & now BIOS display came !!!!! ????? But its meaning less for me as further PC can not be boot with O/S in this 2-3 jumper position. So by this way, with 2-3 jumper position I auto entered in BIOS as no need to press F2 at here.

                    About your suggested step 15, 16, 17, 18 :

I have done it with BIOS configuration jumper was in 2-3 position (Configuration mode). Though you have suggested to do step 12 to step 19 with BIOS configuration jumper in 1-2 position (Normal mode) but as my DH67CL motherboard is randomly giving display in this 1-2 jumper position, so I have to do step 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 with BIOS configuration jumper in 2-3 position (Configuration mode). Later I power OFF the PC.

About your suggested step 19 :

I have done it with BIOS configuration jumper again set in 1-2 position (Normal mode). I powered ON the PC, there was no display came as usual !!!!! ????? Its really very surprising, shocking & unpredictable behavior of my Intel DH67CL motherboard, but its true !!!!! ?????

Now I think I have to write an e-mail to Intel company to ask them whether they are doing repairing of Intel motherboard on chargeable basis or not as 3 years' warranty of my DH67CL motherboard has been expired.

Well, once again thanks lot dear Mr. N. Scott Pearson for your all the important sequential 19 steps you have written for me & I have tried to explain you above that what exactly I have already tried for each 19 steps but still my problem has been not solved.

So still I am waiting for possible technical solution of the above mentioned problem in "Step 01" from entire "intel communities".

BIOS version 0160 (BL0160.BIO) overwrite successfully both the times, but unfortunately & I feel very sad to write here that there was no display came when BIOS configuration jumper position was set at 1-2 (Normal mode).

Today I have formatted USB 2.0 pendrive in my "IBM Thinkpad R40" old laptop having Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit O/S & copied BIOS version 0160 file "BL0160.BIO" on its root I downloaded from intel website : "https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22273" (Your step number 1).

Today both the times, after removing CR2032 battery, I was waited for 45 minutes (Your step number 7 suggested to wait atleast 15 minutes).

Today both the times, I have used USB 2.0 pendrive & both the times I have inserted USB 2.0 pendrive in to DH67CL motherboard's USB 2.0 port of rear panel, not in Blue color USB 3.0 port of rear panel. (Your step number 9).

And at last, if still I keep BIOS configuration jumper in 2-3 position (Configuration mode) then display is coming !!!!! ?????

                        Thank you.

I am editing this reply as I want to add below update for you.

Today on 25th September' 2016, after updating you about my activity I have done as above, I was doing switch ON & switch OFF the CPU near about 50 times then during these 50 unsuccessful tries, no display was came & now randomly for the 1st time in the night, display came with BIOS configuration jumper was set as 1-2 (Normal mode) & by pressing F10, I choose to boot my PC from HDD1 Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit O/S.

Its really very surprising, shocking & unpredictable behavior of my Intel DH67CL motherboard, but its true !!!!! ?????

Again, I believe that your board has suffered a component failure. It appears (to me) that the component is (now) operating intermittently, perhaps as a result of its thermal state. My recommendation is to replace the board.

                            26th September' 2016.

                            Dear Mr. N. Scott Pearson,

Sir, I want to update you below 3 results as after reading them you may find some different idea / some different solution.

Activity 01 : (This activity done "by mistake") :

Today on 26th September' 2016, once again I have followed your instructions & I have done every single step (all the 19 steps) sequentially & exactly as per you have written in your reply of dated 24th September' 2016. But after doing your step number 12, "by mistake" I forgot to remove USB 2.0 pendrive from the DH67CL motherboard's rear USB 2.0 port & I have done your step number 13 (Restore A/C power and press the power button).

                            Result for Activity 01 :

Unbelievably & surprisingly its started BIOS overwritting / updating process & BIOS version 0160 (BL0160.BIO) overwrite successfully also that I can see on my screen even though BIOS configuration jumper position was set at 1-2 (Normal mode) as per your step number 12 !!!!! ????? Technically whether its correct happening or wrong happening that I don't know / I am not sure about it.

                            Activity 02 :

Today on 26th September' 2016, once again I have followed your instructions & I have done every single step (all the 19 steps) sequentially & exactly as per you have written in your reply of dated 24th September' 2016 & the same I have also done 2 times on 25th September' 2016 & I have updated you on 25th September' 2016.

                            Result for Activity 02 :

Today also the same result like BIOS version 0160 (BL0160.BIO) overwrite successfully but no display came when BIOS configuration jumper position was set at 1-2 (Normal mode). Since today morning I have minimum 30 times power OFF & power ON the CPU, but no display is coming with BIOS configuration jumper position is set at 1-2 (Normal mode).

Repeated Activity 01 : (This activity done "by intentionally") :

Today on 26th September' 2016, again I have repeated today's above mentioned "Activity 01". This time in doing your step number 12, instead of removing USB 2.0 pendrive from USB 2.0 port of motherboard, I "intentionally" keep USB 2.0 pendrive in the DH67CL motherboard's rear USB 2.0 port & BIOS configuration jumper position was set at 1-2 (Normal mode) & I have done your step number 13 (Restore A/C power and press the power button).

Result for Repeated Activity 01 :

Same as above written in "Activity 01".

So dear Mr. N. Scott Pearson, please guide me about,

                            (1)

Whether the result of today's done above "Activity 01" is technically correct or wrong ?

                            (2)

In your reply of dated 24th September' 2016, in your 2nd paragraph, you have written like : ".....the fact that the board will sometimes boot and operate properly indicates (to me) that you may have a component that is failing intermittently, possibly as a result of its thermal state (i.e. it needs to be heated up to work properly)".

On 25th September' 2016, you have again written about your doubt on probably failure of the same component name "thermal state".

So can you please guide me that on motherboard where exactly this "thermal state" component is located ?

I will be highly thankful to you if you can send me its location JPG file photo by doing RED color round marking through "Paint" name inbuilt program (mspaint.exe) of Windows so I can see it & get awareness about failure component. To send me JPG file photo, my e-mail address is "patel_dhiren@rediffmail.com"

Waiting for your kind suggestions on these.

Thank you for your support every time.

                              N.Scott.Pearson

If you have the jumper located on pins 1-2 and it still does a recovery install of the BIOS, then the jumper is not working properly (not shorting (connecting) pins 1-2). This has happened to me before; the metal portion of the jumper falls out of the plastic housing. Look closely at the jumper; can you see the metal piece? If not, you need to get a new jumper. An electronics supply store should be able to provide you with one. I would note that this could also explain what has happened in general; if there is no jumper (or jumper is missing metal portion) and there is no USB flash drive providing .BIO file, the system would just sit there and not initialize graphics at all.

By "thermal state", I am referring to the temperature of the component. Often, components may fail in such a way that they sometimes operate properly when the component at in a particular temperature range but they always fail at lower temperatures. Now, as to which component(s) might actually be failing (if indeed any are) is unknown. Some components (capacitors, resistors, diodes, etc.) may show visible damage (melting, black marks, leaking liquids, etc.) while others will look just fine and there is no way to tell.

                                27th September' 2016.

                                Dear Mr. N. Scott Pearson,

Sir, today morning I have disconnected all the cables - connectors (SATA, USB, RJ-45, SMPS connector, 3.5 mm audio, etc.) connected with motherboard & take out DH67CL motherboard from PC's cabinet. I tried to observe motherboard with magnifying glass very carefully & I found that there is a silver color small capacitor surrounded by white color plastic small supporter stand with hole in it so capacitor can be stand firmly & can be pass through plastic supporter near "PCH" (Platform Controller Hub) of Intel DH67CL motherboard which has 2 terminals soldered on motherboard, I found this capacitor is become loose from its soldering on motherboard. Through magnifying glass I found that this capacitor's both terminals are become very weak due to atmospheric corrosion. Due to the limitation of this "intel community" website that one can attach file attachments only 1st time when he / she submit question, in later conversations one can not attach file attachments, so for this reason I am not able to send you photo of this capacitor's location on DH67CL motherboard for better understanding.

Later outside of the PC's cabinet, by keeping antistatic non shorting material sheet below the open motherboard & I have re-connected all the devices' cables - connectors on motherboard & power ON the PC.

                                Now my observations are :

                                (1)

If I am very lightly pressing on this component's top side & then pressing the power ON button of my PC then my PC is powering ON but then as per I have written in "Step 01 I am doing", no display is coming (BIOS jumper position is 1-2 "Normal mode). Same way when I am pressing power OFF button of the PC then my PC is not powering OFF but if I am very lightly pressing on this component's top side & then pressing the power OFF button of my PC then my PC is powering OFF.

                                (2)

Same way, if I have not lightly press on the top side of this component & I am pressing DVD writter eject button then its trey is coming out & quickly auto close but if I am very lightly pressing on this component's top side & then pressing the DVD writter eject button then DVD trey is coming out & wait & when again I am pressing eject button then it will close.

                                (3)

Same way, when I power ON the PC but then no display is coming as per problem (1) so I press "Reset" button of my PC, at that time RED LED on my PC for HDD is not blinking but if I am very lightly pressing on this component's top side & then pressing "Reset" button then RED LED on my PC for HDD is blinking for a while.

Later that capacitor's both terminals has been automatically broken & that capacitor has been now auto disconnected from my DH67CL motherboard. So now my motherboard is not even powering ON.

So now I have sent an e-mail to Intel company on "crmotherboard@mailbox.intel.com" & updated them about all the problems I am facing with my observations & JPG files of screenshots, motherboard photos. I asked Intel that I am from INDIA country so where is the Intel's service center where I can repair my Intel DH67CL motherboard on chargeable basis as its 3 years warranty has been expired, what is the further process to send my Intel DH67CL motherboard at Intel company & on which address should I send it, how should I pay to Intel, etc.

Now I am eagerly waiting for the positive reply from Intel company.

According to your reply of 26th September' 2016, I have verified that my Yellow color BIOS configuration jumper has metal portion inside intact to do shorting / to connect pins 1-2 for "Normal mode" & to connect pins 2-3 for "Configuration mode". By connecting & removing BIOS jumper on 1-2 position & 2-3 position, I have checked pins shorting & open situation through electronic multimeter by touching 1-2 & 2-3 pins solder terminals below the motherboard & multimeter is giving beep noise when jumper is connected & multimeter is not giving beep noise when jumper is removed so its confirmed that Yellow color BIOS configuration jumper is working properly.

I wholeheartedly thank you for your support every time very quickly & your answer is always related to my question, all these are really appreciable. If you don't mind, may I know you are giving me support from which country ? I am from INDIA country.

Unfortunately, Intel exited the Desktop Boards business a number of years ago. There is no longer any service center where you could get your board repaired (at cost or otherwise). As I have said before, if a board this old has failed, you have no recourse other than to try to repair it yourself or to replace it (at your own expense). There are still manufacturers producing boards for 2nd generation Intel Core processors, but, since your processor is also 6 years old (and is not supported by Windows 10), my recommendation would be to replace (upgrade) both the board and processor...

                                    Hello DhirenPatel,

I agreed with N. Scott Pearson, the motherboard seems to be defective and it needs to be replaced.
At this point, I strongly recommend taking N. Scott Pearson suggestions as he always provides very good suggestions.

                                    Best wishes,

                                    Ivan
