How to change primary display adapter?

I have a Hp Pavilion desktop HP p7-1120 windows 10 with upgraded power supply to 500w.

I'm trying to upgrade my video card too a SAPPHIRE RADEON RX 460 2GB. my pc has Integrated graphics and I see no where in the bios or my "hewlett packard setup utility" to change my primary display adapters form integrated graphics to pci-x16 graphics. I've seemly tried everything. other threads weren't helping. Please and Thank you.

I'm thinking about getting a new mobo but really don't want to do that.

Hi Bearwwe,

Please make sure you are connecting your monitor to the graphics card's output port, instead of the board's video port.

Hi Bearwwe,

According to your motherboard manufacturer it disables the integrated video; here you can corroborate this information: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03012519 http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03012519

What I recommend to you is to contact HP, in order to verify if there is any setting available in the BIOS for this feature.
