Package temp higher than core temp?

I was wondering if this is normal.

When the pc is in idle, the "package" temp is higher than the cores temp.

Then when the cpu is under load, the core temp surpass the package temp.

I dont know if everything is working as it should.

As far as i know, the package temp should be always under the core temp.

Is there any problem?

Hi Alintel,

The processor temperature is usually lower than Core temperature. Now, both temperatures are affected by processor speed in BIOS, quantity and speed of the RAM plus amount of applications running at the same time. Because there is a lot of "personal" information in there, serial numbers and stuff...
