    Serial connection vs Ethernet connection

      Hello all,

I've seen that I can connect to Edison either via screen (serial connection): IoT - Setting up a serial terminal on a system with Linux* | Intel® Software

and either through ssh (ethernet connection): IoT - Connecting to your Intel® Edison board using Ethernet over USB | Intel® Software

Can you please explain the cons and the pros of each connection? ie Why should I use the one instead of the other?

(I think that maybe the serial connection is better because I can reboot the Edison without being disconnected and enter the boot inside it. I am not sure though it is very important and whether this is the only difference).

      Thanks, Alla
