Because the unit includes a blower and passively pulls air through the chassis, I wouldn't consider it suitable for industrial applications. There are, however, places that sell fan-less chassis for the various NUCs and even some that offer full turnkey NUC systems for industrial applications. A simple internet search will identify them...

Did you mean "actively pulls air", not "passively", didn't you? Because the blower is a part of Active cooling system.

What he means is that Intel® NUCs have active cooling systems (fans), if you are going to use it on a dusty place it would be recommended to get a fan-less case, as Scott’s suggestion
