    Application blocked from accessing graphics hardware Intel HD Graphics 4600 Windows 10


      I am using an HP Envy 15t, with Windows 10 Home (64bit) and Intel HD 4600. Recently while playing games, I was receiving the error message "graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered"; after following advice found on forums to modify the tdrdelay to 8, I am now instead receiving the message "application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware".


      I see that other people have had this problem, and fixed it (?) by updating their drivers, but I am on the latest drivers (, from the HP site; seems to match with the most up-to-date on the Intel site, I also ran the software to detect any Intel hardware that needs driver updates and it didn't find anything graphics related). This seems to happen around 3-4 times a day.
