ethernet interfaces are not created with Intel 82599 adapter

Hi,

I have compiled the kernel net-next-2.6 (downoaded from git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net-next-2.6.git) which has ixgbevf driver.

VFs are shown in lspci output when I ran "modprobe ixgbe max_vfs=4". But ethernet interfaces are not created. Interfaces corresponding to PFs are created. dmesg shows that "ixgbe_init_interrupt_scheme: Multiqueue Disabled: Rx Queue count=1 Tx Queue count=1". Am I missing something in the setup ?

Hi,

I got it working.

Rootcause was somehow ixgbevf was not set in .config file.
