wireless adapter reset windows 10

I upgraded my Dell XPS M1710 to windows 10. Everything works fine except I have to run the network troubleshooter in order to connect to wifi. It resets the network adapter then I am good. I have to do this every time I boot up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. I know the driver doesn't support windows 10.

I have Intel wireless wifi link 4965AGN. I read there is a fix but can't figure out what to do.

Thanks

Hello Nightowl,

We regret to inform that the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN is not supported with Windows® 10. We can't provide drivers nor recommendations for this configuration since it is not expected to work properly.

The list of Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Wireless Products is found in the following link:

You may also confirm with the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/oems.html Computer Manufacturer Support if they recommend using Windows® 10 with your PC, or if they can provide any additional recommendations about this matter.

Regards,

Jonathan
