Is there any chance you can test a different power adapter?
Have you tried using a different a USB cable?
Try to use a different power outlet.
I suggest unplugging the unit from the power supply and monitor, leave it like that for a couple of minutes, then plug it back in, and then press and hold the power button for 3 seconds and release at the four second, you should see the screen with several options if you see that screen press F8 to Activate Windows 8.1 Recovery Mode and follow the prompts.
