I keep getting a notification that my graphics drivers has stopped and then has recovered. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling it, and uninstalling + restarting my computer. It still gives me the notification. I get it even while watching youtube videos, overwatch, games like that, but not in games like League of Legends. Any solutions?

I have the same problem and much more to it with the same GPU... I get it no matter what I do but when my GPU stops responding it doesn't recover and it completely crashes my computer giving me the BSOD and Video Scheduler Internal Error and has to restart. It has been happening to me since I got Windows 10 soo yeah ... and still no news on WHY it happens or HOW to fix it ... 1 damn year Intel...

Yeah, and what's interesting is that people I know have also upgraded from 8 to 10 and they don't have the issue that I'm having. Has this seriously been going on for a year?

Yep I have my laptop for 1 year since I started Uni and its been a year having this damn problem without any fixes whatsoever which is really bad from Intel's side that they can't fix it in the time span of 1 year as of now and probably won't fix it any time soon...

Hi All,
I am sorry for the inconvenience. The issues reported with our graphics drivers are related to compatibility with specific games or game settings only.
Please tell me when you are getting the BSOD, which applications were you running while system crashed.
For better assistance send me the results of Intel® System Support Utility.

Hello Mike,
I get the message when viewing YouTube videos, as well as Overwatch, but I don't get it while playing League of Legends, so I'm guessing they administered some kind of fix to it.

Hi all,
Please provide the sticky info from here , and I'll throw this over to our debug side for further investigation. This helps us determine if it's something we're already working on or something different we've missed. Appreciate it.

This is the only info i am able to provide since the dispdiag doesn't show up on my desktop for some reason:
This is what it displays tho after i put in the command you mentioned in your post (but no luck in creating the file idk why)
Usage: dispdiag [-testacpi] [-d] [-delay ] [-brightnesslogging] [-out ]
-testacpi runs hotkey diagnostics test
-d generates a dmp file as well with additional data.
-delay delays the collection of data by specified time in seconds.
-out path where the dispdiag file should be saved, including filename. This must be the last parameter
-brightnesslogging toggle verbose brightness logging.
-ccddatabaselogging toggle Ccd database access logging.
Output:
Name of the saved file.

I have the same issue.
For me this occurs when I am playing WOW or streaming video, it could be video from you tube, netflix or my cable provider. I have added my PC's info here as my specs are different than those of the previous respondents.
Thanks

I also have been having this exact same issue for... 3 YEARS. Even after having my computer in storage for literally the last year and a half, I open it it, install the latest drivers, Win 10, etc... and STILL... the same exact problem during everything from Youtube to Word to Chrome to Game to music players... constantly, the screen will freeze black, and then finally get functional again with the message "the graphics driver has stopped responding."
Whenever this happens, I've checked the task manager, and there are always major spikes in CPU use every single one of these times. I'm not sure if there is throttling going on, or what. I hope to get this fixed, I basically cannot use my computer for games or movies because of this problem.
I've changed the settings, uninstalled, reinstalled every version of the driver possible over the years... have tried every trick, and still no luck.

I also have the same problem. It doesn't freeze while playing League of Legends but I have problems playing Starbound and Overwatch, even with no other programs running. I've switched quality of graphics a ton of times to see if that will fix it, but it is all the same. I've tried to update my graphics card so many different ways ( through the driver manager, manual driver manager search thing, the Intel program which never shows any drivers throughout my computer at all period, through other programs, ) but it always says its the latest version, which I know is a lie because the version I have installed is from early 2015. Hopefully my attachment works.

Yep. Exact same problem with what you said. I also have a driver from like August 2015, but it says it's the latest one.
Does anyone know if this problem occurs while playing Left 4 Dead 2? I would like to play it, but if it's going to be crashing I'd rather not buy it

Hi PikaBagels,
Thank you for your feedback with your results. I noted you are using the graphics driver version 4278 on your Lenovo system.
I suggest you to double check at Lenovo website if there are newer drivers and BIOS versions for your computer. Intel already has newer generic drivers but they might or might not work in your system. Pre-build systems require customized drivers by pc manufacturer.
Lenovo support:
http://support.lenovo.com/cr/en/ http://support.lenovo.com/cr/en/
You can try with our generic driver after BIOS and Chipset update from Lenovo.
Graphics driver version: 4463

Steps for manual installation:
1-Download the zip file of the driver from downloadcenter, unzip and keep file in the desktop.
2-Turn Internet connection off
3-Go to device manager>Display Adapter, right click Intel HD graphics and select uninstall driver (check delete box)
4-Restart the computer
5-Go to device manager>Display Adapter, right click over Microsoft generic driver select Update driver, browse search for graphics folder at desktop (step 1)
6-Restart system and review graphics driver version installed from device manager or Graphics control Panel.
If problem continues, please send me the full results of our Intel® System Support Utility.
