You can try the following actions, as they may improve wireless connectivity:
- Make sure you are using the latest driver recommended by the Computer Manufacturer Support, or use the generic Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 7*, version 18.12:
- Go to the Advanced properties of the adapter in Device Manager and apply the configuration mentioned in the following advisory:
- Set the power plan settings of the wireless adapter to maximum performance when plugged in and on battery:
- Disable the Bluetooth component of the wireless adapter and check if it helps. This is normally done with a switch in the computer chassis, or a key combination.
3 of my managers at SysTool Inc. own Dell N5110 laptop. I cannot figure out how to troubleshoot my issue.
I am getting the fluctuating wireless connection after reinstalling all device's drivers for Intel Centrino Wireless N-1030.
