How to get rid of white squares that obscure icons in the tree pane explorer in windows 10?
It does not help to remove IconCache.db.
A long time ago I had the same thing in Windows 98, and then it was a mistake graphics driver.

The problem occurs only when I do upgrade.
A clean installation gives the correct appearance of icons in Explorer.
My question to find ways to improve icons is up to date.

Pre-build systems require customized drivers by pc manufacturers such as Dell, Lenovo and similar companies. Our generic drivers usually don't work properly.
That's why the update is giving you graphic issues.
