I need to collect more details of your system before giving to you a workaround. Run our Intel® System Support Utility and send to me the results.
How to attach a file:

Also; tell me when you are getting the errors, which application you are using.
and it also has a nividia GeForce 860m GFX.
Shouldn't the laptop be using the GeForce during a game? Isn't that how the hybrid graphics work in that laptop?
The first things I noticed on the download page for that ASUS notebook:
"Please update ASUS Splendid to v3.11.0001 or newer to avoid compatibility problems caused by upgrading to Windows 10."
"To avoid displaying OSD abnormally due to compatibility issue after upgrade to Windows 10, please update ATKPackage to v1.0.0038 or above." (OSD - On Screen Display)
I realize both pieces of software probably aren't the source of your problem, but strange things can happen with out of date programs running in the background.
Anywho, your currently installed graphics drivers:
Intel HD 4600: 10.18.15.4256
nVidia GeForce GTX 860M: 10.18.13.5946
Both of those are out of date, especially the Intel HD 4600.
The Intel Setup program for their graphics driver usually gripes when it encounters a laptop with hybrid graphics (like yours), and it will tell you to consult your manufacturer for a driver. You can get around this by installing the driver in Device Manager: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki/insider_wintp-insider_devices/how-to-install-and-update-drivers-in-windows-10/a97bbbd1-9973-4d66-9a5b-291300006293
So, despite your aversion to updating drivers, give these a shot--using the Device Manager step for the Intel GFX driver, if necessary:
(Download the .zip package, that way you can point Device Manager to the 'Graphics' folder)
I should also mention that if you choose to update the Intel graphics driver by using the Device Manager method, you should uninstall the old version of the Intel graphics driver in Control Panel first.
I am having similar issues with the graphics display driver crashing and recovering. However when this happens I still have to exit the program I am in and reload. Screen is freezing during gameplay..and then erroring program helldivers, seems display/graphics related.
Steam: Galactic civilization 3, helldivers
I have the most updated recommended driver by HP, the driver stated above does not appear to be a solution.
I will try to improve the graphics performance of your system. I reviewed the results of the test and I noted you are using 2 types of memory (different brand and quantity). Additionally, the graphics driver version is higher than the driver proposed by Hewlett-Packard website.
I suggest you the following troubleshooting; install the latest motherboard drivers; uninstall and delete the current graphics driver first.
Intel Chipset v10.1.1.9 Rev.A (Aug 14, 2016)
Intel Management Engine v 18.104.22.1687 Rev.A (Aug 14, 2016)
Intel Graphics Driver v 10.18.15.4256 Rev.A (Jun 16, 2016)
HP ENVY Desktop - 700-414 drivers
If problem continues, make a test with just the memory stick 8GB – Hyundai: HMT41GU6BFR8A-PB
You can give a try to our latest generic graphics driver version 4463. Download the file name 22.214.171.12463.zip and install it manually.
Use the steps below:
1-Download the zip file of the driver from downloadcenter, unzip and keep the file on the desktop.
2-Turn Internet connection off
3-Go to device manager>Display Adapter, right click Intel HD graphics and select uninstall driver (check delete box)
4-Restart the computer
5-Go to device manager>Display Adapter, right click over Microsoft generic driver select Update driver, browse search for graphics folder at desktop (step 1)
6-Restart system and review graphics driver version installed from device manager or Graphics control Panel.
In regards to your games, Intel has tested HELLDIVERS and it is recommending to use a higher graphics card (HD 5500). However, I suggest you change the game settings as follow:
We have not tested the game Galactic civilization 3 yet; however, I recommend you to change the settings of it to low.
Let me know how it goes.
