Hi, I cannot get my 4k monitor to run at 60hz. The maximum setting in intel hd control panel is 30hz. Wondering if there is a fix to this problem.
I am using display port 1.2 and the monitor is Samsung 28ue850
Done a bit of research and can't seem to figure it out.

Hello d4ni3l:
In regard to your inquiry, I just wanted to let you know that the Intel® i7-4510U supports 3200x2000@60Hz as max resolution on display port, as you can confirm on the following link:
http://ark.intel.com/products/81015/Intel-Core-i7-4510U-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz http://ark.intel.com/products/81015/Intel-Core-i7-4510U-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz
So, that will be the max resolution you will be able to use with this system.
Any questions, please let me know.

Hello d4ni3l:
That actually will depend on the manufacturer of the laptop.
Some of them have the option to replace the processor for you to be able to do an upgrade, and some of them do not have the option to do that.
The best thing to do will be to get in contact directly with the manufacturer, in this case ASUS so they can confirm that information.
ASUS's phone number; 1-877-339-2787

Any questions, please let me know.
