Intel® Wireless Adapters may be used for basic Ad-Hoc networks as in Wi-Fi direct, they are not designed to work as hotspot (Access Point).
You might want to confirm with the Computer Manufacturer Support as well, since our adapters are compliant with international standards, and some features may be modified by the OEM depending on the system and the region that the computer was designed for.
