I have started a new thread because I have a new device.
This is with Firmware 0037 / Video 4463 and the replacement unit sent. Dual Display port without HDMI is about 90% stable. The 2nd monitor on the MST chain will exhibit the behavior shown in the video, but is much less pronounced,

4474 is a little more stable, but still not 100%. The display port monitors still go blank periodically. Sometimes VERY frequently. Mostly during heavy video compositing see second video.
HDMI still has paint artifacts.

Hello ErnieE,
We have seen issues like this when using MST, the recommended configuration by Intel to have dual display or triple display is here:

This is a complete BS answer. If you don't support MST over DP 1.2, then you shouldn't spec the device that way.
Total bollocks especially when an older device works just fine.
Unbelievable.
This is the kind of BS answer that will make me likely to never purchase another NUC again and to go out of my way to steer people clear of such a shoddy device.
SHAME ON INTEL.
Great way to drive customers away.

Hello ErnieE,
I'm sorry I never say is not supported as you can read above, I said that we have seen some issues with MST, there is a new Beta driver that has been released, you can download it and see more information here:
/thread/104027 https://communities.intel.com/thread/104027
I suggest you to uninstall the old driver and install the new Beta driver.
I apologize for any misunderstood.
Best wishes,
Ivan

Hello ErnieE:
Based on the notes that belong to this thread: /thread/103134 https://communities.intel.com/thread/103134
The case is under investigation, so we will need to wait for the results of that research, in order to find out if there is a possible way to fix this problem.
Any questions, please let me know.
