Let me guess: Samsung 950 PRO M.2 SSD...
Yes, I have the latest Bios installed. This is the 2nd Bios I have installed; the first one fixed nothing noticeable for me, I cannot figure out what fixes 0037 did: I dont have any Thunderbolt devices.
Yes, I have already tested a second M.2 on this device; at a cost of $330 to me. And nothing was wrong with either M.2 drives.
Let me answer your next questions now:
And yes; the bios updates were done in recovery mode. Yes I have the latest drivers installed. Yes my Skull Canyon passes the intel processor diagnostic program, yes the NUC is plugged securely into an APC UPS; yes the UPS works perfectly. And yes here is my SSU file.
***ADDITION*** My Samsung 950 Pros are on the latest Samsung firmware.********** Please note: if Samsung releases a firmware update it could not be installed under Intel RST because the drives are masked as an Intel device array. Also; Samsung TRIM and RAPID functionality are terminated under Intel RST; not a big deal since the DMI bandwidth is maxed out without RAPID.********* Some helpful advice for Intel: stop asking Skull Canyon RAID users to check for SSD firmware/driver updates... Even Intel branded M.2 SSDs cannot be updated under Intel RST.
P.S. Where do I send my Invoice for the training?

Just checking – you mentioned that this unit is on NAS device, have you tried the unit out of it just to see if the same thing happens outside of the NAS device?
If yes, I recommend contacting technical support to get a replacement for the unit.
No you aren't. You are trying to squirm you way out of support. I gave you the SSU file; LOOK INTO IT.
My Skull Canyon is hooked up to a router, my nas is another device on the router, my skull canyon goes on the network (Via ethernet) and scans files on the NAS (virus scan, CHKDSK, Defrag). It takes a long time. I leave Skull Canyon on; wake up and skull canyon off... WTF else do you need to provide support?
I am growing tired of the back and forth with Intel. Fix the problems
Don't come back and say check my power source; my NUC, Router, NAS, everything is on a UPS.
Let me apologize for any inconvenience.
I just wanted to check if the issue persists with the Intel® NUC, or if it is working fine now?
Any questions, please let me know.
