          Hello Priy:

The thing about laptops, is that most of them are build to work with an specific operating system, all the components software applications and drivers are based on that operating system, in this case Windows® 7.

So, if you change it, some drivers might not work properly with the new one, and some errors might be expected.

Did you check with Sony before doing the Windows® upgrade?

On the following link you will be able to find drivers for your laptop:

          http://www.sony.co.in/support/product/VPCEH25EN

The audio drivers should be there, so, you can remove the drivers from device manager, by right clicking on them and choose the option delete, and try to install them again.

As additionall information, the audio drivers sometimes are included on the graphics drivers, the following is a link from Sony’s web site, with the graphics driver for your laptop:

          http://www.sony.co.in/support/download/579410/product/vpceh25en

The laptop is working with NVIDIA® GeForce® 410M GPU, that is a video card, on the following link you will find drivers for Nvidia products:

          http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_family.html

A BIOS update might be needed, but for that you will need to get in contact with Sony directly, same thing, if the audio drivers after you reinstalled them are not working, for warranty also, Sony is the one that will be able to help you in case a replacement is needed.
