We would like to inform that Intel® Wireless Adapters are meant to be used in client PC's, they are not certified to work in servers, therefore, we cannot guarantee that they will operate properly in Windows* Server 2012 R2 and other server releases.
You can use Intel PROset/Wireless Software to create, export and import wireless profiles. It is very important to customize the installation process and choose to install all the software components, including Intel PROset/Wireless Enterprise Software. This will provide the tools required to manage profiles.
Again, keep in mind that some of these functions may not work with Windows* Server releases.

But "Microsoft*: Import and Export Wireless Profiles " link is a way of import profile from a backup.
To begin with, there are NOT any wireless profile on my NUC.
Also, regarding the link of Create and Import Wireless Profiles in Windows* ,
I can NOT find "Wireless Network Connection Icon" on system bar of my NUC as I replied in 8th post of Re: NUC6i7KYK:Bluetooth driver install error on Windows Server 2012 R2 .
I think I need to settle exclamation marks listed in Device Manager as I posted in 11th post of Re: NUC6i7KYK:Bluetooth driver install error on Windows Server 2012 R2 .

The main aspect to consider is that this wireless adapter is meant to be used with client PC's and is not supported with Windows* Server versions, therefore, we do not have a suitable driver for this configuration.
If you already tried using the drivers for Windows* 8.1 with the enterprise features installed, and still the issue persists, then we do not have many options left.
You can try running the Intel® Driver Update Utility, this will autodetect Intel® Hardware and recommend drivers for it.
Keep in mind that the wireless drivers and software were not designed for Windows* server, we cannot guarantee that they will work properly since they are not compatible.
What is Windows* 8.1 with the "enterprise features installed"?
Is that different from normal version of Win8.1?

I understand primary reason of the issue is Windows Server does NOT support Wireless.
But my question is why do you write "Windows Server 2012 R2" as the support OS of Wireless_18.40.0_PROSet64_Win8.1?
BT_18.16.1_64_Win8.1 is the same situation.
Consumer expects Wireless works using these drivers apart from MS guarantee.
Microsoft gurantee is NOT so important for my personal use.
The Enterprise Features can be installed by customizing the setup process, this will give you the option to tick some checkboxes and install additional components on Intel® PROset/Wireless Software.
Also, you may consider using the IT Administrator Links for Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth® as well.
