cpu: i5-6600K
Display audio: 8.20.0.865
board: Gigabyte H170N
HDMI audio
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR616
Windows 10
If the Receiver goes to sleep (The PC doesnt sleep), the pc drops the Receiver as a playback device. So when I turn the receiver back on, there is no audio. I have to go into device manager and refresh or restart the PC to see it again, and then all the the settings are not remembered when I do reconnect.

This seem to be driver issue or cables.
Please test the latest beta driver available here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26078/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26078/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345
Do not forget to test another set of cables.
Allan.
