ISCSI boot

My question is I have 2 NIC Intel ETH Converged adapter X540-T2.

The firmware that is installed now booting PXE and I want that it booting

 

ISCSI.

So I must install a other firmware to do this.

I have also read the file on https://downloadmirror.intel.com/19186/eng/bootutil.txt https://downloadmirror.intel.com/19186/eng/bootutil.txt

I can't find the firmware relating to this NIC Card and also the

 

software to do this.

Can someone help me?

Hi Gluesppe,

 

 

Thank you for the post. The ISCSI is available in one single master FLB file, so what you need is to download the preboot.exe from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19186/Intel-Ethernet-Connections-Boot-Utility-Preboot-Images-and-EFI-Drivers

 

 

Then extract the file and copy the bootutil.exe in the bootable drive to boot to DOS mode to execute the command.

 

 

BootUtil -BOOTENABLE=ISCSIPRIMARY
