Using 4Gb DRAM device technologies, the largest system memory capacity possible is 32 GB, assuming Dual Channel Mode with four x8 dual ranked DIMM memory configuration

Since this is a laptop computer and the maximum memory supported is 32Gb http://ark.intel.com/products/76087/Intel-Core-i7-4750HQ-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_20-GHz http://ark.intel.com/products/76087/Intel-Core-i7-4750HQ-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_20-GHz

You will need to check with your computer manufacturer for memory information if every memory bank will handle 16Gb of RAM.

The maximum amount of memory per memory channel would be determine by the computer manufacturer and the computer BIOS, I would recommend contacting your computer manufacturer for information about memory capacity.
