BIOS 44 enables NVME SSDs But BIOS Recovery Is Needed

    provo44

I have a Samsung SM-951 NVME SSD drive. It now tops out at 2003 Read MB/s. Before recovery the best it would do was around 1585.

There are three pins on the board. The yellow jumper uses only two of them. Prior too removal note the orientation of the NUC and whether the unused pin is on the left or right.

Question: For future BIOS upgrades will I have to use the recovery method in order to keep NVME SSD performance?
