To remove a driver:
Right click the start button and choose "Device Manager", you can also open it through Control Panel, it's the same.
Find your device (under network adapters), right click on it, and choose "Properties".
In the window that opens, go to the tab called "Driver".
From there, you can Uninstall the driver.
Hope this helps,
I don't have the screen up anymore, but it was worded more like an application uninstall, not a driver uninstall. There's a pretty substantial difference in the version number, so I'm wondering if it's the right package for the 6i5s.
A driver is just a software or a application, after all.
I have a 6i5S, here's what my driver looks like in Device Manager
Mine is older than the 20.7.1 which is from 4/29/2016, I haven't bothered to update it
Next round of updates I'll update the BIOS to 0044 and then update all drivers to the latest.
I have the same driver. I'll be interested to see if you are able to get the new driver to load and what process you had to use.
Yes, I was able to install in using the method hegenious described. It seems a bit strange though - I had to uninstall the Proset SW first, which I think is what the issue was, not the actual driver. ANyway, all is fine now.
I apologize, I thought I added this to the driver, but obviously I did not. It has been added now.
You may be prompted to remove the existing LAN driver before installing this version. If so, please uninstall the existing version, and this version will install.
