What brand is the M.2? Mine is Intel and so far so good.
As above, which M2 are you using?
Have you tried re-seating the M2?
My Samsung 950 Pro worked first time with no "interference" needed.
Read this thread: Need setup instruction for my new NUC6i5SYH
I followed (well, mostly ) the guide by Hegenious in Post #7.
Windows 10 installed fine to my M2 using that method - though I do "get" that your M2 is not being recognized in Bios.
It's Sandisk X400 installed by the reseller. Yeah I tried re-seating. Was hoping for a BIOS setting that was wrong but doesn't look like the case.
I talked to the reseller today and they were really good about it and sending me another M.2 SSD to try.
I hope you can have a better experience with the new M.2 SSD and we will appreciate if you let us know how it goes with the replacement.
Looks like it was the M.2 SSD and not the NUC. Got the new drive and it shows up in the BIOS and as a drive for the Windows install. Thanks to MITXPC for getting it out quickly.
Now I have my fingers crossed that this NUC will won't have the issues that we initially saw. BIOS is at 0042.
I picked up 2 of these little guys. One works perfectly, the other won't see the M.2 SSD. I've tried swapping cards and restoring the BIOS (SY0045). It appears the interface on the MB is having an issue. Here is what I get in the BIOS.
Unless I'm missing something I'm sending the NUC back for replacement.
