from the release notes:
NOTE: Intel Audio Studio Users
If your system supports Intel Audio Studio and you currently have it installed on you system; please not that this is an IDT GUI driver package only and does not include or support Intel Audio Studio.
If you would like to proceed:
First you must remove IAS by un-installing the SigmaTel/IDT driver package
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Select Add/Remove programs – WinXP or Select Programs and Features – Vista
3. Double click on the SigmaTel/IDT Audio driver in the list and uninstall
4. Re-boot your system.
To install the updated IDT driver package, Run setup.exe in the IDT driver folder.
To restore to your previous driver; repeat the steps 1-5 above; then re-install the original driver.
Intel Audio Studio driver packages are available for supported motherboards on Intel’s website for download.
Sigmatel Drivers/IDT 92xx for All windows
here's another older version:
These are not guaranteed to run on your board as Intel does not list it as supporting it. But, it may work. Good luck.
By the way, I don't work for Intel. I am just a user like you.
I appreciate very much your help in resolving my problem. I will try it over the weekend. On the page that lists Audio Drivers Download page there is a long list of motherboards and in the middle of the listing is my motherboard DP35DP so Intel is supporting my motherboard but the driver they list didn't work. I even went to the webpage of IDT and they said their OEM's are the one to support their driver. So I am hopeful that your link will work.
I feel Your frustration.
I am also looking to find the last Audio Driver Update: Intel Desktop Board D965 Sigmatel (IDT) 92XX download that contains Intel Audio Studio 2.7 plus the Sonic Focus Encoders (that support the audio studio) for both Windows Vista and Windows XP.
Currently, the Intel Audio Studio has been discontiuned (as Sigmatel is out of business), and no loner supported. The Express Driver disk is currently no longer available, and ALL websites are linked to the broken Intel download link - I can't find it anywhere.
I contacted Intel Support - no luck.
