Desktop DP67DE with i5-3470, 3 beep error code

Please excuse me if this problem is minor as I'm still a rookie at building computers on my own.

My motherboard is DP67DE, and I'm currently trying to install i5-3470 3.20GHZ into this motherboard, upon starting I constantly receive 3 long beep error code, which I did some searching online and it says memory error. I have tried numerous memory sticks that is compatible and working on other computers, but still the same results... Please help! What could it be? I also realize that this is an older motherboard that requires minimum bios 77 to run i5 3rd generation, could it be because my bios is old?

      Thanks in advance!
