Need help installing drivers for Win7 64-bit Intel HD graphics 4000

So I have a problem that I'm hoping one of you can answer. I'm somewhat new to this kind of thing, so please be gentle

I'm trying to update my graphics drivers to play a game. Here's all the system information I could find:

      Processor: Intel Core i3-3110M CPU

Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4000

      Manufacturer Make: Gateway

      Manufacturer Model: NV76R (laptop)

OS revision: Windows 7 64-bit, unsure of specific version number (if necessary, if you can tell me how to determine this I can provide this information)

So I went to the drivers section, searched my graphics card and found a download that (I think) should have worked. That link is here: Download Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8/8.1-64-bit

I clicked on the third download link from the top, the .exe that I thought was the correct version. When I tried to install it, however, it says "This operating system is not supported".

Any ideas on what I've done wrong, or what I could do to fix it? Thanks a ton for your response in advance!
