i recently bought a hp pav 15ac179tx and i cannot install windows7 64 bit ultimate on it using a pen drive . just after boot before the windows selection menu an error occurs wherein the setup asks some drivers before moving forward. i have tried everything like changing the port, not trying to use USB 3.0 etc, but to no avail. Also USB ports are not recognizable when i click browse to search for software. on googling i came across a possible reason that USB3.0 drivers are missing. kindly let me know where to find those drivers and how to use them. I am completely new to this.
Kindly help me. thanks
Yes, it seems USB 3.0 drivers are not part of the Windows® 7 installation disk.
You will need to slipstream the drivers onto Windows® 7 setup.
