Hi Kalti94,

if you would like to reach all subscribers of this community, i would recommend to write your inquiry in english, so everyone can read and answer to it.

Just a suggestion. ;-)

Nevertheless, if it would be my decision, i think i would stick with the i720QM, which has the best cost-benefit ratio in my opinion. It is very difficult, even to my self, to answer whether or not the cpu will last for four years. You can never know what apps and games will be developed within this long time. Imho i would never plan investments for computers longer than two years. But if money doesn´t plays a mayor role for you, hey what else go for the best one.;-))

Kind regards

Payne

Hi Kalti94,

as i proposed already in my previous answer, i would suggest to look for an notebook with i7-720QM cpu. The i7-720QM has 4 cores (you will get 8 logical cores in your task manager through HT), the i7-620M has only 2 cores, so imho i would exclude that one already.

Regarding the i7-820QM, i don´t really think that it is justifiable to claim aprox 200 euros more for a cpu, compared to the raw cpu costs, and that gives you only a performance and speed increase of about 8.3 percent. There is a much wider price gap between the 720QM and the 920XM. But that is my personal opinion. Of couse you will get a mixed calculation, when you buy a complete notebook, but overall your allways going to pay on top of it.

I hope that this little and rough economical excursion could help you to find the right decision.

Best regards

Payne
