Hello,
I wanted to check my current graphic drivers so i installed the Intel (R) Driver Update Utility tool. After scanning my pc it said that I could download new drivers. It said my current driver is version 10.18.10.4358 and i need to upgrade to version 15.33.42.4358. I downloaded the new driver but when i was in the installation wizard, the wizard told me it is install ing the old driver namely version (10.18.10.4358). After completing the installation my pc still uses the old version driver and the Utility Tool states that i downloaded the new driver but they aren't installed.
Can anyone explain what is happening and help me?
Thanks in advance.
It is a Intel HD graphics 4000.

Hello, Alex8:
Thank you for contacting the Intel Communities.
You already have the latest driver for Intel® HD Graphics 4000.
The first digits change depending on the windows you have and the DirectX* it supports, for version you would only require to check the last four digits.
This behavior from the Intel Driver Update Utility has been seen before, but no need to worry about this, since the latest is already installed.
Additionally, I would like you to check this article that has some additional information about the numbering of versions for the drivers: http://www.intel.my/content/www/my/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005654.html http://www.intel.my/content/www/my/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005654.html
If you require any further information or support, do not hesitate to contact us back.
Regards,
Esteban C
