    Get Machine_check_exception BSOD / freezes

      Hi,

I bought an Intel Core i7 6700 CPU but I think it's faulty.

I have MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION blue screens / freezes some minutes after startup, I tried on both Windows 10 and Windows 7 and I have same problem. The safe mode is unaffected.

I returned the motherboard (Asus H170 Pro Gaming) and got it back after a repair on CPU's socket and testing by Asus but I have same problem. I have tried the memory (G.skill Ripjaws V 2x8 GB 2133 Mhz) with memtest86 (I tried removing one stick and the other), I have tried to disable every SATA drive one by one but still got the problem.

I tried the IntelProcessor Diagnostic Tool but all tests are 'PASS', same for Prime95. I updated the motherboard BIOS and have the micropatch 74, but same problem.

I don't know what to try anymore but I think it's the CPU's fault.

Can you help me about this please ?

      Thank you.

      Regards,

      Danicela
