After contacting Gigabyte and Intel I haven't been able to get a definitive answer about this error code.
Without actually having any Thunderbolt 3 devices to test out, I just want to know if this error code indicates that the controller is malfunctioning or is it simply that I'm getting the code because I don't have any devices attached to the Thunderbolt 3 port.
This controller is on a Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7 motherboard running a clean install of Windows 10 64bit.
