High CPU usage of a serial process E5-2683v3

    cationly

      Dear all,

My server contains two E5-2683 processors. However, the CPU usage is 2800% when I run a program in serial. It seems that the execution of program is distributed over all cores. But I do not need  this feature. How do I disable this feature? I hope that the serial program should be run on one core only.

PS: the Hyper-threading has been disabled in BIOS. The motherboard is Supermicro X10DRL-i

      Thanks for the help.
