We understand you would like to run the secure erase on your SSD. We would like to research about this situation you are experiencing and we will come back with some testing and further information about it.
That is correct; I want to run Secure Erase on a second Intel SSD ( Intel DC S3500).
It appears the first issue is getting the Intel SSD Toolbox to correctly recognize the OS (Windows 10 Pro x64 upgrade) which it currently reports as Win 8 or server 2012.

Again I want to install Window 10 on a Intel DC S3500 (previous OS drive) but have received the following message "Secure erase cannot be run on the selected drive because it is not a supported feature under Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012."
Further reading indicates even if Intel SSD Toolbox recognized the correct OS I would still have a problem with the drive's Frozen status. In fact I can't find any information that Secure Erase / SSD Toolbox is workable in Window 10. The drive is hot swappable and was unplug several times.
So I have installed the Intel Data Center Tool but cannot get it to start from the command line?
Can someone tell me what the command is for starting the Intel Data Center Tool?
You can start the commands from CMD (In administrator mode) using the following code:
It is very important to open the CMD in administrator mode, otherwise it is not going to work.

I have the same problem, same error message within Intel SSD Toolbox (Version 3.3.6): "Secure Erase cannot be run on the selected drive because it is not a supported feature under Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012."
I also tried isdct (run as admin), but "isdct show -intelssd" shows "No results".
The disk "Intel SSD 535 Series 240GB" has the latest firmware, applied by the Intel SSD Toolbox (Version 3.3.6).

The steps are basically:
- Open CMD in administrator mode
- Type: diskpart and hit enter
- To show the disks, please type: list disk
- Select the disk number you want to secure erase, type: Select disk #
- Type: Clean all (This is equals to a secure erase)
