Hello Intel Support,
I recently bought a new computer and I am having issues with the second display using HDMI.
I have an HP screen connected to the DVI port of the motherboard. If only this screen is connected when booting the computer, the HP display is well discovered.
If the computer is running, I can connect the Samsung TV to the HDMI port of the motherboard and the TV is discovered and works well.
If I turn off and then on the computer, if the Samsung TV is connected to the HDMI port of the motherboard, no display is discovered. Showing black screen in both displays.
I have tried connecting the Samsung TV to the DisplayPort port of the motherboard using a converter to HDMI, but the problem persists.
I have been installing and testing the latest drivers for the last weeks with no success.
I see in the forum that other people are also having problems with HDMI v1.3 TVs. Has Intel a solution for this?
Regards,
Daniel

Hi Amy,
updating the BIOS to version 0806 solved the issue : )
I have to say that I was quite reluctant to upgrade the BIOS. If the process goes wrong it is not easy to fix...
There were a couple of tricky steps along the update but it went well.
Thanks for the support!
Kind Regards,
Daniel
