Hi all, there was some mention of only having one thread dealing with this issue, I agree, and it will be this thread.
We're going to lock the other threads so that we can just have this one.
PLEASE only post on here if you're having the issue where the screen flashes/blinks when using 4K. All other posts/comments need to have a new thread created.
One note, thanks everybody for all the great feedback, we're working on this as a priority issue, so please be patient and I will update this thread as soon as I have any information.
Yup, I made a thread about this here: Intel NUC 7i7BNH; monitors blackout/flicker all black before going back to normal. Happens several times a day.
To reiterate what I posted there; My LG 27UD58-B 27-Inch 4K monitor using a DP-to-USB-C cable (this one) is experiencing multiple daily black-outs where the screen goes completely black and then back to normal. It's running at full 4k resolution, 3840x2160 at 60Hz, and flickering only occurs when I play video full screen (YouTube, Netflix, etc.). My other monitor is a 27-inch ASUS PB278Q WQHD, which also occasionally does the exact same flickering running at just 2560x1440 at 60Hz. The ASUS uses a perfectly good HDMI 2.0 cable going to the HDMI port on the NUC, using the latest HDMI 2.0 firmware v.1.66. Reinstalling the GPU driver does nothing. Rebooting does nothing. I can now confirm that the latest 4729 GPU driver and July 24th v49 BIOS does nothing to solve this flickering problem.
Oh, and just to add, I'm also getting random crashes in the latest versions of Office 2016 (now at version 1707 build 8326.2062), all in Outlook. Error log says it's attributable to faulting module igd10iumd32.dll, which is the Intel GPU. See image below and error output attached to this post.

You are correct, as of now, a solution has not been found for this. I will post here as soon as the team has found something to share.
As far as your Outlook issues, I would say lets wait until you have a GFX driver that is working correctly to start digging into that.
I just registered on here because I have the same issue and hope to find a solution on here sometime soon.
I have the NUC7i7 with the newest drivers and bios and have the issue not only on my 4k monitor and 4k TV but also while running 2 LG 34uc99 WQHD (3440 X 1440) monitors (one via USB C, DP 1.2 and one via HDMI 2.0 with latest drivers)
Black-outs happen more frequent when running a youtube video on one of the monitor. Both monitor are affected.
Hope this will be resolved as it is quite annoying.
Thanks & Cheers,
The working driver I'm using is 22.214.171.12464.
I don't see it very often but my wife say the flickering happens when you first turn on the video using vlc or netflix.
I tried turning down the resolution both on the Intel Nuc i5 7th Gen and LG tv but didn't see a change.
Also to let you know I have a i5 6th Gen plugged into my 34" LG widescreen with a display port cable and with the newest graphics drivers. With no issues of flickering.
I tried assigning more memory and increasing the rest in the bios all i got was a device un-able to shut down and a messed up desktop so i guess i went to high ( why are there these options if all they do is make things worse ..lol? )
And whats with the gazzilion options to controle those annoying leds on the case...when all i want is "off" ...
And why won't it let me post here nor edit my posts on my phone (android/chrome)?...annoying

AARRG I`m going crazy lol.
I have my receiver switched in a way that i see my desktop on the NUC but the sound is comming from my turntable , done that lots of times before , never a problem.
Now, when i see my desktop and have receiver on phono for sound and i open a web browser i start getting A sound/noise from my subwoofer ( no record playing) , when i close the web browser the sound is gone ...HUH?
And another thing , i was getting a green screen with intel nuc logo every time i rebooted the nuc , only on reboot.
When i switched the nuc off and then on again it booted with the normal black screen.
So i thought , lets reboot one more time and take a picture of the green boot screen and post that here but guess what , here i was ready with my camera ...no more green screen ... AAARRG lol
The only things that have changed on my setup in the last 2 days were 2 win10 updates:
2017-08 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4034662) and
2017-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4034674)
I am really contemplating sending this thing RMA , def. not good for my bloodpressure
did manage to make a picture of the green boot screen
