Can use i7-7700 to i7-6700 motherboard?

Hello,

Since i7-7700 and i7-6700 CPUs are almost identical except Base frequency,Turbo Frequency and DDR4 support frequency.

Is it possible to use i7-7700 on i7-6700 industrial motherboard? If yes then will there be any problem If I use DDR4-2400?

You need to ask the manufacturer of the motherboard if their bios supports the i7-7700.

For such an upgrade, the upgrade processor must be socket, bios, and chipset compatible.

I’m sorry this motherboard chipset does not support the 7^th generation processor.
