EMR Jul 21, 2016 12:04 PM (in response to Intel Corporation)That does not work. it tells me that the driver is not compatible with my machine and will not install. Still shows the 20.19.15.4444 version installed in Device Manager and Windows Basic Display Driver in the Adapter settings.

Jul 22, 2016 9:14 AM (in response to EMR)This message was posted on behalf of Intel CorporationThat message indicates that your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of generic Intel video drives. You are required to install drivers from your computer manufacturer; however, you may try forcing the installation of Intel generic drivers manually, see here for instructions:

5. Re: Carbon X1 Model 20A7, windows 10, intel HD Graphics family not supported
EMR Aug 5, 2016 1:43 PM (in response to allan_intel)Nothing would allow me to do it until I did a reset of Windows 10. Once I did that, it worked fine. Only a day and a half of work to do it however!
