I need a firmware of 82574L that support the NC-SI interface. But I did not know how to get it! I have bought a "Intel® Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter" (with a 82574L chip), but it's a desktop adapter and it seems like that it does not support NC-SI. So, what should to do next? How can I get a firmware that support the nc-si interface! thanks!
NC-SI is traditionally a LOM technology; will require you to re-work a NIC in order to get the physical interface connected - not generally a simple task.
If you have an account, the NC-SI Firware is available to our customers via the Intel Business Link (IBL)(http://kaveri.intel.com/ibl/). If you don't have an account then you will need to contact your local Intel representative to get one.
I register a account , then visit the "http://kaveri.intel.com/ibl/", the web is error! "HTTP 404 - File not found
We're sorry, the page you requested can't be found on www.intel.com." Is there anything wrong ?
om/I suspect that you are getting this error because you are being denied access. You will need to a privileged account to access these documents. Many people get accounts setup through their Intel field represenative. If you are working on embedded hardware designs using Intel products, you can request access by registering at the Embedded Design Center.
I hope this helps you.
I thought of one other reason why you might not be able to access the link. The link from Patrick might not be accessible from your location.
If you have already have an Intel Business Portal account, use this link to access the documents library:
