Need help with DZ77GA-70K Boot problem

Hi here,

I'm having problems booting my Corsair Force 3 SSD.

I have BIOS version 0039

Corsair Force 3 SSD is connected to SATA 3 Marvell onboard port

I run Linux (yes I know it's not officially supported)

I have GPT partitions in the disk

I have tried syslinux (currently using GRUB 2) bootloaders

Selected Corsair Force 3 SSD as first boot device, however BIOS comes up with an error "please insert system disk"

If I go into the boot menu and manually select the device to boot, it boot up fine, however it will not automatically boot otherwise

I have tried installing Windows 7 & that boots fine, so it seems to be a problem with non-Windows bootloaders.

any help much appreciated.
