1. Re: DH77DF; PCH Core Voltage out of range
phil_l Jun 2, 2012 8:49 AM (in response to RAPWare)Hi
The PCH has a range of voltages it requires on several pins, these are 1.0, 1.05, 1.5, 1.8, 3.3 and 5 volt.
Your reported voltage of 2.040 doesn't sit close to any of those, perhaps it is the 1.8 which is running high, the maximum allowed variation on the 1.8 volt input is a maximum of 1.89.
Is this the software mis-reporting the voltages, is it the chip measuring the voltage being inaccurate, or the PCH is actually getting too much voltage? It's hard to know for sure.
Have you checked your BIOS settings are configured correctly and tried resetting to defaults?
The PCH temperature seems fine, mine runs at 50 to 60 degrees and they are rated upto 108 degrees.
Try HWMonitor and see if this gives you the same voltageshttp://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Yes

HWMonitor returns the following voltages:
CPU VCORE: 1.04
VIN1: 1.04
AVCC: 3.34
3VCC: 3.33
VIN4: 1.02
VIN5: 1.16
VIN6: 0.05

3. Re: DH77DF; PCH Core Voltage out of range
kdwykleingeld Aug 2, 2012 4:12 AM (in response to RAPWare)Hi, i have a dh77df mobo with i3-2120t
I get a lot of BSODs .. most of the time x09c and x101.
I was looking at voltages ...
In the bios i see 1,05v for vcore
But with IDU and with Hardware Monitor i see vcore raning between 0.94v and 1.06v .. most of the time it is below 1v
Looking at suggestions for my BSODs i see "increase vcore" ...
However my bios (0.95) on my dh77df mobo does not allow me to do so.
And this constantly fluctuation voltage seems strange ??
Qestions :
1) is this to low maybe ?
2) is there some way / trick to change it ?
3) there also was a problem with the memory voltage !!! ... setting it to 1.5 resulted in 1.76 volt... i had to reduce to 1.4 in order to get it to 1.5 v (which is within intel specs)
Is there something i can do with any of the bios settings to get this vcore permanent above 1.05
Or can this be a malfunctioning cpu or mobo ??
thanks for any replies ...

Great support from Intel !
