I purchased the PTV2000 adapter in September 2011 and it has worked perfectly now for about 7 months. However, now when I turn it on I get an error that states "Adapter Encountered a Problem on Startup". I have followed all of the Troubleshooting Tips even to the point of Resetting the adapter to factory settings, but to no avail. Please help.
You may try resetting the Intel® WiDi as it is shown in the article at:
Since you already tried resetting to factory defaults and that didn’t fix the problem, then you should get in contact with Netgear* and request a hardware replacement.
