Recently i wanted to replace my dead ASUS motherboard with DG41TY mobo as it was available in local stores easily and by internet research it was compatible with E5700 processor(Pentium D 3.00 Ghz, 800FSB). my problem started here, when i replaced my new mobo, it is not booting, lights are ON and processor Fan is ON. No beeps and freezes there.
I tried to check the processor by putting it on the other computer, where the processor was working fine.
Then i tried to check the DG41TY mobo with E8400 (core2duo 3.00 Ghz, 1333 FSB), then to my surprise mobo started booting.
Even though E5700 is supported by DGT1TY, it is not booting and also no error message or no beep

Yes for the first CPU, no for the second (they are two different items). If you're trying a Pentium D then that's your problem. You can see the list of compatible CPUs (including any minimum BIOS versions and hardware requirements etc) here.
