mechbob Sep 10, 2011 9:32 AM (in response to Blezerker)Try putting one stick of Ram at a time maybe one is ok and one is bad , at least you will know is it the Ram or the board ??

2. Re: Three beep memory error
Blezerker Sep 10, 2011 9:42 AM (in response to mechbob)Well, I think I tried all the slots, and I don't know if the cards are defective, both of them just wont work. I don't know if it's a certain PCI slot that doesn't work, but still I'm sttarting to get worried....
I'm really hoping the motherboard isn't defective. That's like, 200$ out the window

3. Re: Three beep memory error
mechbob Sep 10, 2011 9:53 AM (in response to Blezerker)If you have tried each stick in each slot , one at a time and get the same result , do you have any other ram , it's starting to sound like the board , but before I would send back the board I would buy some known good ram that is on the Intel approved list . What CPU are you using.

mechbob Sep 10, 2011 10:01 AM (in response to Blezerker)Check the specs of the CCPU Memerory controlled and see , it may tell you that the fastest Ram that you can use is DDR3-1333 or DDR3-1066.

Blezerker Sep 10, 2011 10:05 AM (in response to mechbob)where can I find those

7. Re: Three beep memory error
mechbob Sep 10, 2011 10:05 AM (in response to mechbob)Yea thats what I thought the Mem controller is DDR3-1333 or DDR3-1066. You will Probably have to get different RAM . Unless the DDR3-1600 Defaults to 1333.Right now you can't get in the BIOS right ??

8. Re: Three beep memory error
Blezerker Sep 10, 2011 10:28 AM (in response to mechbob)I can't say for sure, but for now no. Just a blank black screen shows up on the tv while it says searching for signal..

9. Re: Three beep memory error
mechbob Sep 10, 2011 10:55 AM (in response to Blezerker)This is most likly a ram prob . I would sugest getting one stick of DDR3-1333-10600, and see if you can at least get in to the BIOS .

11. Re: Three beep memory error
Blezerker Sep 11, 2011 7:49 AM (in response to mechbob)uhhh.... people are kind of telling me you're wrong....
No, absolutely not, lol. i5 CPU can support up to 32gb of DDR3 Ram, speed support is handled by the motherboard. Most 1155 motherboards support up to 2133mhz nowadays. Some are limited to 1866, others go past 2400.. Actually DDR3-1600 is the basic standard for i5 today. Not technically correct. 1333mhz is still the DDR3 standard
But yes, the i5 will support those other memory configurations.

Nathanielchoi Sep 13, 2011 12:01 AM (in response to Blezerker)Base on DP67BG's compatible memory http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/dp67bg/sb/CS-031957.htm
One of the requirement is 1.35 V DDR3 SDRAM DIMMs (New JEDEC Specification), but your memory which F3-12800CL9D-8GBX is 1.5v.
Need to troubleshoot system with memory voltage is 1.35v first.

SDouglas Sep 13, 2011 12:37 AM (in response to Nathanielchoi)Sorry. That's not an accurate intepretation of the memory spec. The DP67BG motherboard supports, NOT REQUIRES, the new low voltage memory of 1.35v. That's an important distinction.
It will run memory as high as 1.65v (read further down the spec). The voltage of 1.5v for DDR3 memory is very common, within spec., and perfectly acceptable.
You can learn more about low voltage DDR3L [emphasis added] memory here: http://www.techpowerup.com/index.php?127412
